Description
Please join Canadian Forest Service (CFS), the Canada Centre for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO), and Qalipu Environment and Natural Resources (QENR) for this unique opportunity to preview new drone images of local forested areas and efforts to use remotely sensed imagery to provide information on tree identification, health, amount of shade, and other attributes.
The workshop will feature presentations by CFS, CCMEO, and QENR, as well as a weather-permitting land-based activity on March 11, 2025.
The workshop will seek community guidance on how drone and remote sensing data should/could be employed by the community to support stewardship and other goals. There is unlimited space for online attendance, however, only 10 seats for in-person attendance. To sign up, whether to acquire the meeting link or reserve your seat, email [email protected] β Be sure to specify whether you would like to attend virtually or in-person; the meeting link will be sent out through email!
