Qalipu Business Forum 2025: Building Connections, Sharing Knowledge, Creating Opportunity

On November 19, the Qalipu Business Network (QBN) hosted the Qalipu Business Forum 2025 in partnership with the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) at the Centre for Heavy Equipment, Transportation, and Technology (CHETT) in Stephenville. This annual event continues to be a powerful gathering for Qalipu-owned businesses, community partners, and industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and explore new opportunities.

Since the re-emergence of the Business Forum in 2024, we have already seen meaningful partnerships form between Qalipu members, resulting in new products and services for customers across the region. This year’s forum built on that momentum, bringing together member and non-member businesses alongside experts from multiple industries to share insights and spark conversation about the future of business on the west coast.

A Day of Learning and Connection

The day began with a guided tour of the CHETT facility, where participants were impressed by the cutting-edge resources available right here in Stephenville. Demonstrations of the heavy equipment simulators showcased CNA’s commitment to hands-on training and workforce development.

Throughout the day, attendees heard from a diverse lineup of presenters, including techNL, Triple Point Resources, Cemex, Atlas Salt, Horizon Naval Engineering, and CNA. Topics ranged from artificial intelligence and digital transformation to mining, clean energy, and marine infrastructure. Networking breaks throughout the forum provided valuable time for participants to build relationships, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
